This article will be the first of two in a series explaining how to make an appealing, engaging and informative webpage using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript for a variety of web development projects.
We’re going to walk you through the steps of making a beautiful, informative, and interactive leaflet using HTML and CSS3 using the same techniques that we used to make the beautiful, interactive HTML5 leaflet above.
Let’s get started with the basics, shall we?
We need a simple webpage to be able to load and display our leaflet in the browser.
We’re going with an example of an interactive example to be sure, but you can make your own.
I’m going to assume you’ve got a page like this:Let’s start by creating a new HTML5 document in your HTML editor:Here, we’ve created a

tag is what’s used to define the HTML elements of our leafleted page.

This is the only element you’ll need for our leafLEFT element, which is what we’re going do with the
